We recently went to a local orchard to pick pumpkins and I considered picking apples to make homemade apple pie filling...
...then I got real with myself.
I really like the idea of doing some projects, but my follow-through isn't always there. #realtalkpeople
Plus canned apple pie filling really isn't much different from homemade filling. The only difference may be the apples. When you make it yourself you can choose which types of apples you want to use so you can make it tarter or sweeter than canned. Well and you can make sure there are no weird ingredients but that's a whole nother issue.
But for the price and to save myself some stress, I typically just use canned apple pie filling.
Really, I promise it's not that much different.
